Mr. Dilip Kumar Jha



Trustee & Advisory Board Member





Mr. Dilip Kumar Jha holds a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and a postgraduate degree from IIM Calcutta (1983–85).


He has over 40 years of experience in leadership roles of which he spent over 25 years in India's software industry, including as one of the first employees of AT&T, Oracle and Sybase in India, and in leadership roles at TCS, Satyam and Tech Mahindra.


​ In 2012 he founded a SEBI-registered portfolio management company that now serves over 100 high-net-worth clients and manages assets of over ₹200 crore.



Mrs. Vandana Jha



Trustee





Ms. Vandana Jha is the Managing Trustee of Aarohan Foundation, Hyderabad, serving in an honorary capacity.


She has four decades of leadership experience across the government, corporate and development sectors. A Physics postgraduate from IIT Delhi, she began her career as a Government of India scientist, later taught at IIM Ahmedabad, and then moved to the social sector.


There she headed Volunteering, HR and Livelihoods at Satyam Foundation and was part of the core team behind the 108ambulance service pilot.



Smt. Bala Jha



Trustee





Smt. Bala Jha is a Founder Trustee of Aarohan Foundation and the wife of the late Shri Vinod Jha, IAS (1966 batch, Odisha cadre).


Her exposure to her late husband's grassroots work and her own charitable disposition make her vision a guiding force for the Foundation's social work.



Mr. Vinay Jha



Advisory Board Member





Mr. Vinay Jha is an independent journalist and content strategist based in New Delhi, with over 30 years of experience in leading media organisations .


After completing his PG Diploma in English Journalism, from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Delhi (1992), he has worked at leading media organisations, including The Statesman, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, the Dainik Bhaskar group and NDTV Convergence, across the print and digital domains. .


His subject expertise covers policy and governance, strategic affairs, and development issues and his experience also includes work with key ministries like the Ministry of External Affairs. He brings to the table a deep understanding of governance and developmental issues, in addition to legal and political issues.



Mr. Prabir Chatterjee

Mr. Prabir Chatterjee is a Chartered Accountant and IIM Calcutta MBA with nearly four decades of finance and management experience across India, the Middle East and Europe.


He held senior finance roles at Kodak and Carestream in Dubai and Geneva, and later, as Managing Director of Carestream's Indian subcontinent operations, doubled the business in four years.


He is currently Promoter-Director of AHA Portfolio Management Services. His expertise in financial governance and compliance will strengthen the Foundation's financial management



Dr. Anil Jha



Advisory Board Member





Dr Anil Kumar Jha (MBBS, MD General Medicine, DTM, Fellowship in Geriatrics from the Geriatric Society of India) is a Senior Consultant Physician and General Medicine Specialist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Jha practices at Vijaya Health Care Multi-speciality Hospital, Secunderabad.


He specializes in many fields like internal medicine, adult care, chronic lifestyle disorders, geriatric care etc, with broad experience in medical emergencies and acute systemic conditions.



Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini

Prof. (Dr.) Sucheta Priyabadini is an academician, researcher and counsellor with 37 years of experience in higher education, gender studies and social development.


She holds a D.Litt. and a Ph.D., has served as Maa Rama Devi Chair Professor at Rama Devi Women's University, and held senior student-affairs roles at KIIT University.


She has published more than 100 research articles, holds 3 patents and has authored or edited five books and has won many prestigious awards.


Her commitment to women's empowerment, inclusive education and sustainable development makes her a valuable adviser to the Foundation



Ms. Shubhada Waknis



Head, Human Resources





Ms. Shubhada Waknis is an HR leader with over 19 years of experience across IT, ITES, e-commerce, logistics, skill development, CSR and healthcare.


She holds an MBA and a PGCSL from XLRI Jamshedpur, and her expertise covers talent acquisition, workforce planning, learning and development, HR compliance and people analytics.


She is passionate about creating inclusive, collaborative and purpose-driven workplaces where people can learn, contribute and grow. She leads the Foundation's HR function on an honorary basis.



Mr. Vijay Mothalla



Head, Operations & Finance





Mr. Vijay Mothalla has over two decades of experience in finance and operations at a global bank and a SEBI-registered portfolio management company.


He has managed accounting, MIS, administration and customer service for high-net-worth clients.


Driven by a commitment to social service, he manages the Foundation's finance function.



Mr. Kritarth Jha



Head, Research & Data Analytics





Mr. Kritarth Jha is a development economist and data specialist who holds MPhil in Economics Research (2017–18) and Advanced Diploma in Economics (2016–17), University of Cambridge, UK, and a B. Tech from IIT Kharagpur, where he won the Institute Silver Medal.


He has worked in Nobel Laureates Abhijeet Bannerjee’s and Esther Duflo’s organisation J-PAL South Asia where he Worked on a randomised trial in Bihar and Jharkhand testing whether job information improves vocational training outcomes and has also worked as Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow, Development Data Lab, Delhi .


He is currently Chief Investment Officer at Aarohan Holdings and Advisors. His Development Economics background, his research on vocational training and his data analytics experience is directly relevant to Aarohan Foundation’s work. Serving on an honorary basis, he helps the Foundation design, monitor and measure the impact of its skill-development programmes.
